AYUNG RIVER RAFTING

Ayung River white water Bali as a place for Ubud white water rafting can be considered as the best whitewater river rafting in Bali because very suitable for beginner and very appropriate for family activities. The Ayung whitewater river is the longest river on the island of Bali.

The length of Ayung whitewater River approximately 68,5 kilometres from the northern mountain, then goes to Bangli regency, Gianyar Regency, Badung Regency, and end on Badung strait at Sanur beach. Ayung River in Ubud is the first whitewater river use for Bali whitewater rafting trips. As one of the longest rivers in Bali, Ayung whitewater river offers a thrilling adventure combine with central Bali nature sightseeing. If you do Ayung Rafting Bali, then you will enjoy the Bali rainforest and very well maintain rice field. MOUNT BATUR SUNRISE TREKKING AND TEGENUNGAN WATERFALL

Get ready for amazing experience trekking on this active volcano in Bali, here you will see the beautiful view of an active Mount Batur (1717 m). We will pick you up at your hotel at around 1.30 am – 2.00 am in the morning depending on hotel area, our team will happy waiting at lobby of your hotel, and then we will drive go straight to starting point in the volcano foot.  

The trek will need 1.5 to 2 hours to climb the mountain till first peak, our professional local guide will accompany you during the trek. The slope of the volcano is covered by black lava which is continued deep into the caldera. From the top of the mountain you will witness an amazing sunrise, Batur lake and panorama mt bromo on eastern part of the Island. While  waiting for the sunrise, we will be serve a volcano breakfast with our guide, here the local guide will cook a special breakfast, the egg cooked in the lava fissure which will be your special breakfast ever, once  you have your breakfast your guide will offer you whether you like to continue to the next two craters which is more challenge or just walk around to see the lave smoke nearby.

When everything done at top, we will continue the journey back to finish point where the Driver waiting for you (approximately 8.00 am t0 9.00 am). The tour will be continued to see Tegenungan waterfall, Tegenungan Waterfall is one for nature lovers who happen to be staying in Ubud or have neighbouring Sukawati among their tour itineraries. The falls are conveniently located halfway between Ubud and Bali’s provincial capital of Denpasar, and is considered the closest natural attraction of its kind that you can reach within only a half-hour transfer southeast from Ubud town. Getting to the falls is a pleasant drive down paved village roads lined with stretches of green rice fields on both sides.

BALI TRADITIONAL VILLAGE SIGHTSEEING

The woodcarving Village name is Mas and Kemenuh Village, both villages produce very good quality of woodcarving made from very hard wood such as teak, mahogany, ebony and hibiscus wood, those of wood import from another island Java, Sumatra and Sulawesi. Painter village name is Batuan or Lod Tunduh Village, the artist in this village created variety of painting.

TIRTA EMPUL AND GUNUNG KAWI TEMPLES

Day tour to visit heritage site of Bali, Tirta Empul Temple or Holy Spring Water Temple and Gunung Kawi, Tirta Empul located in
Tampaksiring region near Gunung Kawi Temple. The temple was built around the springs and special bathing-pools. In the inner courtyard there is clear slate-blue spring water bubbling up into its own enclosed rectangular pool through a sedimentary layer of black sand. In Balinese legend this spring water was created by Indra God when he fought with the Mayadenawa King. This place now very crowded with the people when the secret day for bath special ritual called in Balinese melukat. Tirtha Empul temple entrance ticket US$ 1.5/person. Next to tirta empul it about 1 km away we will be visit Gunung kawi Temple. Gunung Kawi Temple complex, locally referred to as Pura Gunung Kawi, is one of Bali’s most unique archaeological sites, comprising acollection of ancient shrine reliefs carved into the face of a rock cliff. The main site overlooks the sacred Pakerisan River.

Across the river from the ancient reliefs is a temple courtyard featuring old Hindu shrines in a more contemporary architectural style, which is attended by pilgrims especially during its ‘piodalan’ temple anniversaries. Bali’s Pejeng region is famous for its rich collection of archaeological sites, and Gunung Kawi Temple is a popular stopover on itineraries through the central uplands of the Gianyar regency. The temple complex is easily located, only a few hundred meters east from the Jalan Raya Tampaksiring main route, from where you continue down on foot to a paved walkway that is lined with art shops and small local warungs. Along the further 300 steps towards the river, lush paddy terraces and gorgeously green valley go together to transport you back in time away from modernity. There is a similarly named temple, Gunung Kawi Sebatu.

ULUWATU TEMPLE AND KECAK FIRE DANCE

Uluwatu Temple, Ulu in Balinese mean Top, Watu it’s mean stone. This temple built in 11th century by Javanese priest Empu Kuturan or well-known with Empu Raja Kerta. The temple located in south western tip of peninsula, up to the blue sea cliff approximately 100 meters high, the best place to view of the sunset. In 16 century another Javanese priest Danghyang Nirartha visit this temple and add more building, he retreated to this temple for his final life, when he attained Moksha or freedom. The temple has very aggressive monkey colony. Uluwatu temple entrance ticket USD1.6 or IDR20.000 per person.

Next to the temple area there is a Balinese famous dance or Kecak and Fire Dance Kecak, A Kecak performance is very simple. The men’s chorus chants the words Cak ke-cak ke-cak ke-cak ke-cak ke-cak, in rhythm, over and over again, for this reason they are called the Kecak or Cak dance. The Kecak dances consist of about fifty men wearing only a loin-cloth, the upper part of their bodies left bare. They form rows of circles, in the middle of which is a coconut oil lamp. The Kecak dance is performed for dance-dramas and the story presented is take from the Ramayana Kecak and Fire Dance at Uluwatu cost USD8 or IDR100.000 per person.

JATILUWIH RICE TERRACES AND ULUN DANU BERATAN TEMPLE

Jatiluwih Rice Terraces, drive pass through amazing country side and traditional small villages to Jatiluwih Village the most interesting places will see such as very beautiful of huge rice terraces, coffee plantation, durian trees, cacao, bamboo, avocado and etc. Jatiluwih Village has beautiful land wide of rice terraces and the best rice terraces in Bali island (recently denoted by UNESCO as world heritage culture).

After harvest season you may see the farmer flowing the field with cow or buffalo, they still use traditional equipment to manage their land. Jati Luwih Rice terrace entrance ticket cost IDR40.000 or around USD3.2 per person.

Ulundanu Bratan Temple – Temple in the lake, the temple well known with Ulundanu Temple. ‘Ulun’ it’s mean heart and ‘Danu’ it’s mean lake, the temple dedicated to the Gods of lake or waters (Danu Goddess), the lake supplies a lot of water to the rice field. The temple founded in 17th century by the King of Mengwi. In outside yard there is buddhist temple and big Banyan tree. This temple of the important temple in the mountain used for Nyegara Gunung ceremony, nyegara (ocean) and Gunung (mountain). The visitor can rent speed boat to around the lake.
